I bought this leotard and I didn't like it. The material was thin, and the straps were extremely cheap looking. It is see through, and the bra gives absolutely NO support.

I was told by my dance teacher to get this in red for my company dance. Once I tried the leotard on at the studio I fell in LOVE with it! It is the softest leotard that I have ever worn. It also fits very well. I would definitely suggest getting the leotard, and it is a really good price. I am also getting it in black & pink.

I can never find a leotard that fits me right because I am 5'6" 110 lbs, long legs, regular torso, big butt, big hips and non-existent boobs. The leotards never fit my hips and butt and this leotard is no exception, I even bought it in medium to see if it was better and no, nope, no. It just doesn't fit right. If you have a body like mine don't get this. But Positive: I like the material, it's cool and keeps the sweat off (doesn't show). I like the adjustable part on the straps and the built in bra can hold a real strapless bra and it looks great without one too. For small butts and hips I would jump on this leo.

Well, I am a bit disappointed with this leo. Initially it looked great when I tried it on. But when I danced, the bra liner kept on riding up and moving about, showing the creases on the surface. I have to keep on adjusting so that it won't look so awkward. The adjustable straps are very thin and soft so sometimes they get all rolled up. But they do help keep the neckline up pretty well. The support is not great though, and I'm a 34B wearing the S size.

I just bought this leo and I am normally a small or petite but I now have to order a medium because it's so clingy and tight. I don't know what everyone's talking about going so low, it was quite high on me?

This leotard is the softest I have ever seen and the shelf bra, though not very thick, actually provides good coverage. I purchased the red color and it is a gorgeous red -- brighter than the color swap you see here. The scoop neck looks great. I was a little worried about the squarish look of the neckline but it is not squarish at all. It is a real beautiful "scoop". Because I have narrow shoulders, I didn't know if it would look as good on me as it looks on the model. But it does, and on top of that it has such a wonderful slimming effect. Plus, you just can't beat the price! I'm going to purchase more in other colors. By the way, I am 5'3" and about 105 lbs; the S fits perfectly.

This leo fit okay, but as you move, the top of it does come down a good bit. I have to wear a dance bra anyways, but if I didn't it would have been too revealing. The liner in it doesn't do much for support and it kept riding up and out the neckline of the leo. It's okay, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Both of my daughters, ages 15 & 12, love this leotard even more than their much more expensive ones! The fabric is very, very soft and comfortable. It is modest and a bra can be worn underneath without showing in the back. We purchased size medium as my oldest daughter is only 5'3" but is very long waisted. She wears a 34B. It fits so perfectly. We will be ordering more of them!

I have this leo in both black and white. It is very comfortable (I love the material) and works great under costumes. I ordered the white one to wear underneath of my snow costume for the Nutcracker. The only downside is that, depending on what type of tights you are wearing, the bottom can slide and ride up a little. If you are wearing warm-ups or tights over top....it shouldn't be a problem. It is also not extremely supportive, but could easily be fixed by sewing the shelf liner or wearing a bra with it. Overall, I still love this leo!

I initially borrowed this from my roommate when I lost my dance bag. I refused to give it back to her until I'd bought more for us both. This is absolutely the most comfortable leo ever. The material is so soft, so stretchy, so breathable, and comes in such pretty colors. I'm tall for a dancer (5'9") and very muscular, so a lot of the "girly" leos look ridiculous on me. This looks amazing and classic, and feminine in the blue, red, and pink. It looks great on my roomie too, and she's shorter with a J Lo body. One complaint: the shelf lining gets twisted around if you don't sew it down, but that's easy to do and worth the hassle. I love, love, love this leo and highly recommend it to dancers of all ages and sizes and levels of expertise. It also looks cute with a skirt or jeans going from studio to street.

I love the color. I got bright red and it really stands out! The straps are adjustable, but come loose quickly, and I have to tie the back of the straps so I don't "fall out." The fabric is amazing, but the crotch of my tights got dyed from wearing it so much. All in all, a very nice leo!

This is a great leo, it's modest without being too modest. It never shows anything when I lean back and holds up to many washings. I bought a petite and I'm about 5'5". It fits me perfectly and compliments my body. It's a great basic leotards at a great price.

This is the second one of these camisoles I've ordered. They last forever, really wick away sweat and never smell (I know that's gross) no matter how sweaty you get. I've owned my first one for almost 2 years and just got another one b/c I have more classes. It's comfortable and fits well. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was b/c the shelf lining can get a little wrinkled and not stay down right w/ a regular bra. But with a sports bra it's fine b/c the lining clings to the sports bra material. I would definitely recommend this product. It's a great leo for the price!

I just got this leo in red and I love it! I love the thin, adjustable straps and the smooth, slimming material. The red is very vibrant and sleek. It wicks away sweat and doesn't bag or bunch up anywhere. The shelf bra is a little loose, so if you're larger chested you may have to wear a sports bra under it, but this is a great buy and you can't beat the price!!!

Perfect for performance

We used this leotard in light toast (perfect flesh color, btw) along with a earth tone watercolor wrap skirt for a college contemporary piece performance, and all the girls looked amazing! Every size from petite to larger sizes and all different body types fit beautifully in this leo. I would definitely recommend this leo for class, performance and especially as a substitute to the sub-par "undergarment" leos.

I bought this leotard recently after I read the review and it didn't disappoint me. It's one of the best leotards! The fabric is very soft and feels very comfortable. You hardly see the sweat when it is wet and feel much cooler than the cotton leotard. The color is very pure (I bought a black one). The square shape of the front makes your shoulder look nice. The only drawback is that it dyes the tight between the legs a little bit. But it might only happen to the black color. Considering its other outstanding features, I still give it a 5.
In summary, this leotard is a great buy! I plan to buy other colors later on.

Great for the price

I don't think you can get a better leo than this for under $15. The fabric is soft, smooth, and truly wicks sweat away. The colors are pretty (I have it in Columbia Blue - a sky blue - and Theatrical Pink), and it washes up well. It doesn't ride up in the back or fall down in the front, and it moves with you. It's not that supportive for those of us with a C cup or higher, but is easily fixed with some sewing ingenuity. It doesn't leave much to the imagination though. So if modesty is one of your requirements in a leo, you'd probably be better off looking elsewhere.

I have this leo in black small and I absolutely love it! It fits perfectly everywhere but the bust, even though the straps are pulled as tight as they can go. But it won't take long to sew it up! This is a great leo and has really good support for my small-medium A bust. You should totally get this leo!!!

I ordered this in the fifth grade for a jazz piece. I am now in the ninth grade, and I still wear it to class! It fits amazingly, doesn't shrink or move, and is very comfortable! I LOVE this leo!

I'm going to go ahead and give it 5 stars, even though it's not exactly my favorite leo, but that's probably because my arms aren't extremely toned! But anyway, this leo is very nice. I love that it wicks away sweat and keeps you at a perfect temperature, and I looove the neckline and the adjustable straps. It's supportive and provides plenty of coverage, (I ordered one size smaller than they recommended, and it doesn't look stretched, just supportive.) And when I wear my tights right over that slight bulge on my sides around my belly button that all of us not quite perfect bodies are familiar with, this leo does the rest and smooths and slims it perfectly! It's flattering, supportive, and perfect for those long, sweaty classes. BTW, I have it in black and nude, and they are great under costumes, and the black is great because my studio requires black leos.

This leotard is a great deal! I like how the back is not too low, the front is not too low, the legline is nice, it has good support, and the straps are adjustable. The only problem is that whenever I rolled my tights and put my leotard over, you could see my tights. Also, I have some fat on my stomach and sides, so with my tights I would sometimes have a slight blob of fat showing (but I don't have really good abs and it depends on what tights I wear). It is still my favorite leotard though. So if you are what you might be called "fat" then I do not recommend buying this leotard.

I have this leotard in the white and blue. One is a medium and one is a large and they both fit fine when I adjust the straps on the large to be as short as possible. The only downside is that my bust sometimes looks a little obscene because the material is very clingy, although I don't think it would be a problem with the black.

I really like this leotard because it fits really well. The adjustable straps make it so that the leotard will fit almost anyone with any different body types. It is well lined and creates great lines. I have it in red but want to get it soon in the blue.

I really thought I liked this leo when I got it but now I have grown(I am a small B high A) and it is not at all supportive. The material makes it very weak. I would recommend for smaller busted girls but not for me. I have to wear a sports bra under it.

I wrote a review before under the name Ballerina13 and I was a very enthusiastic about this leotard then. But now, I realized that the buckle on the adjustable straps slides up and down when I'm moving! So the "classic scoop front" that they are sporting, REALLY SCOOPS. And let me tell you...it wasn't pretty.

Something that could fit!

I really need a leo that has adjustable straps 'cause I am pretty big chested for my age, but I have small shoulders, even though they are very wide. Since it has shelf lining, I am willing to try it, but I am not getting my hopes TOO up because of all the mixed comments. I want to wear the white leo under a skirt for my solo next year, but I have to get one in black first.

I recently got back into ballet and have tried several different leotards. This has to be my favorite. The studio where I dance is rather warm and I get a little sweaty. This leotard doesn't make me feel as hot as others and I don't leave class feeling like I smell. I also like the fact that the shoulder straps are attached more in line with a bra rather than closer to the underarm. I hate it when the straps slip.

The blue is very pretty and it's nice and tight where it should be. The shelving is practically non-existent (NO SUPPORT whatsoever). The top is practically see-through. I feel extremely self conscious in it so I almost always have to wear a cami with it and I don't like wearing camis on top of leotards.

I like the material and the columbia blue is a beautiful color, but I found this leo was a little big for the sizing. I'm a pretty standard size large in every other leo, but the large in this one is really big. I have a 36C chest and a 31 inch waist and there was actually excess material. Even the shelf bra is too big. I'm going to re-order in a medium and hope it fits a little better!

I consider myself to be "fat" in the dance world, and this is the most flattering leotard that I own (I have it in black). Whether you are any size, it is sure to look great on you. I didn't think the scoop neck would flatter my body, but it was better than a halter style. The only problem is that I lost weight and the sides were awkwardly baggy.

I like this leotard except for two things: One is that, the shelf lining tends to bunch up and there's no support. The other is that you can see EVERYTHING, every bump from tights, every sweat drop, everything. But besides those two things, I think it's very comfortable and I love the colour. I got it in blue.

This is definitely my favorite leo! The shelf bra is way too loose for anything but the back is high enough for a bra so it all evens out. It never gets hot like some other leos. It wicks away sweat GREAT! The adjustable straps are great and you cannot beat the price!

I like this leotard but it isn't perfect. You can see everything--the bumps in your tights or wrinkles in the lining, it slides around when you dance and there isn't much support. It's great for the price, and I am getting the most out of it, but it's not my favorite.

I have a really hard time finding which leos are shelf bras and which are simply lined - this one indeed has a bra lining. It's a perfect leo for class and the only draw back was I had to tighten up the bra lining to make it more supportive. I would, however, order it again!

I own this leotard and I like it a lot. It's very comfortable and I would recommend this for only $14. The only problem I had (which was mentioned in another review) is that the material is like a swimsuit, so it was kinda weird. But overall, I love it.

I got this leo because it was cheap and I've just gotten back into dancing after a few year break. I ordered a L because that's what the chart said -- I think all my problems (I don't feel at all supported in the chest region) could be solved by getting a medium. I love the fabric and the adjustability; Danskin's the fav. between me and my friends.

This leo is OK. It's a little thick for me and doesn't really act like a second skin when you dance. The material is also very shiny, which isn't something I like. It is pretty supportive in the chest area, but the adjustable straps and the cut in both the front and the back are really childish. It's also not very flattering. All in all, I guess it just depends on what you're looking for.

This is a great leo - especially for the price. The fabric is super comfy and the colors are OK too. I find that Danskin does run a little big compared to other brands that I normally wear, so I'd suggest ordering one size smaller than you usually would :)

We used this leo in white and dyed it to match costumes and it dyed perfectly! It fits wonderful and the adjustable straps allow for complete coverage, even on those "bustier" dancers. Now we are ordering them in a color for camp this year - WONDERFUL!

I bought this leo and it is great! The only problem is that I am a 34A and the chest area felt kind of loose. The shelf lining was worthless (the elastic band and lining would bunch up in some places and you could totally notice when wearing it) so I cut it out and I just wear a sports bra instead. I've worn this leo every week since then. Nice and simple, good value for your money.

I love this leotard! It is sooo soft! We got it for a dance as a costume and now I want another. I have the white one and it's so nice. The stretchy fabric makes it fit real nice on all body types. Some girls in the dance are more short torsoed and I am long torsoed. We could both wear the same size and would fit great. I'm gonna get the black one to use in class.

This is a very nice, classic leo. The theatrical pink is the perfect shade, and the fabric is great because it doesn't show sweat - big plus for me! For the price, it's certainly worth getting!

I have five of these leos that I've bought over the past two years. I dance for about three to four hours, at least five days a week, so these leos get a lot of wear. They fit really well, stretchy enough to be comfy but snug and well-fitting. They last (I've had some for years now) and they're comfortable and I don't feel self-conscious. For the price, I definitely recommend.

I thought the leotard was comfortable, but I don't like the fabric. It is almost like the fabric of a swimsuit. When I adjusted the straps, they just fell down and they don't hold very well. I really don't like this leotard.

This is my favorite leotard! This leotard is great! I love the material and the scoop back is just high enough to wear a bra with. This leotard is very slimming as well. The only problem is that, if you have a bigger bust, I would suggest wearing a bra, because the front does come a little low and doesn't give much support.

This leotard is very comfortable and soft. I have it in white and my one complaint is that, the shelf lining has no elastic at the bottom and with the white, it is a little see through. Although, I'm sure that wouldn't be a problem in black. I ordered a petite and the straps are actually a little closer together in the back than on the picture. Overall, an OK leo. I give it a 4 out of 5.

This leotard is perfect, it's my new favorite! The back is high enough that you can wear a thin-strapped bra under it. The light-weight material is flexible and breathable. It's much better than a cotton leotard!

I bought this leotard from the store. It was a great leotard, but to be honest, it is not very supportive for bigger busted dancers. I have a B cup and when we bend forward or back, I feel like I am going to fall out! Sometimes I have to pull it up too, but overall, I think this a really sturdy leotard. It can endure a lot of movement, but bigger busted dancers should wear a bra with it.

This leo is shiny and soft; it will not fade and gives an awesome crisp, clean line! It is inexpensive and perfect for the teacher who washes their dance clothes all the time! I am a petite size, 5 foot, and I wear a size 0 in adults but I am curvy, with a long torso. So I ordered a medium because I am tired of pulling up the front of my leo. However, I could totally have been fine with a small, although this leo fits up high on my chest, which I need for modesty! All around, this leo rocks and is great!!!

I just ordered 2 of these leos, one in blue and one in black. I've never had a pair made out of this material before, but they're really comfortable and soft. They are extremely true to size and fit snug. I have a small, borderline medium chest and the top of it fit perfectly. It's not see-through like the others I've tried. So if you're looking for a cheap leotard with great value, this is the one to go with!

The best ever! I have had this leo for about 4 months now and it is awesome! It has a slick shiny surface that is very professional looking. It is the most comfortable leo that I have ever had! If you have VERY wide hips and a thin waist, this is really slimming! I am actually on my second round of buying this leo!

I liked this leotard, but just liked. I guess you can only use it for dance though...I am a gymnast and went to a practice with it once and it didn't feel very comfortable while flipping or on vault, however on beam it was OK...

This leo was OK. Not bad, but not great. It doesn't provide much support in the chest area and doesn't really create a flattering line. The adjustable straps are convenient, but give the leo a childish look. Overall, there are other leos that are better, for about the same price.

This leotard is great! The material is so soft, but it is very thin. I would suggest that if u have a bigger bust, then do not get this leotard.

I do love the fabric of this leo, but I'm not crazy about the fit of the top. The straps, scoop front and back did not sit well on me and I felt as though I could not find an adjustment that worked. It still functions great, I just found the tank style to be more flattering and comfortable for me.

This leotard is OK. The swimsuit like material is great, it really absorbs moisture. But be careful, the black color stains your tights! And unfortunately, the lining does nothing for small busts and after the first wash the fit changes.

I own this Leo in black. I bought it when my black leo for a show disappeared. I've bought more since then because the second I put it on, I was just sucked in. I felt so slim and my chest looked much smaller. I have a very large chest; it's problematic to find good Leos. I love the feel too, the fabric is very soft.

I bought this leotard as a back-up leotard for my summer intensives. Overall, it supported me well, and I like the cut, but the material is a little weird. It's not very flattering, and the straps kind of make it look like a little girl's leotard. It's ok, not the best.

I bought this when DDS first came out with it. I LOVE it. It's very comfortable and easy to move around in. Even after breaking a sweat, I notice that it doesn't drench the leotard. You gotta love the adjustable straps too; I don't have the biggest bust size so I feel I can bring up the scoop front without looking so flat, but if you'd like to show off your cleavage, I'd imagine you can do that too just by loosening it! The shelf line is nice, but I got mine in black which conceals easily. In the lighter colors you might still want to wear a bra.
